The game uses a version of White Wolf’s Storyteller system. All statistics are scored from 0 to 5 for normal gameplay. There are 9 attributes in total. They are dividing into physical, mental, and social categories. In each category there is an attribute that reflects the character’s power, finesse, and resistance. Rolls are made combining an attribute and a skill to from the base dice pool. Specialties or other modifiers are then added or subtracted from the pool. A success is a 8,9, or 10 on a d10.
Skills and Merit are divided into the three attribute categories as well. This division only reflects the type of action and thus attribute that are related to the skill.
A fourth Merit category, Magic, also exists. These Merits reflect the special skills and items of Shapers.
